As Amy says Matt was to beat the preparation for a picnic on the beach, but the weather did not play along. We had a lot of DIY projects on the day which included:
- Boutonnieres: This had a small vintage really out of the band, spikes and knobs made feel. A little variety to the normal flowers
- Table Decor + Flowers :. We had glass mason jars for all our flowers and candles that had been collected more than a few months. We covered the jars with white lace. That looked really stunning on the modest glasses that had candles in. We have all the flowers themselves, bridesmaids, bride's mum and place them all together on the evening before. We went for a country look, so there is no hard arranging. Just a lot of white daisies
- Bunting :. of ceiling lobby was filled with white lace bunting, which began, the bride's mother sewing many months before the wedding.
- Cake: Created by my extremely talented Bridesmaid (we even produced a first of its kind Rocky Road ice)
- Stationery :. all things stationery (invitations, programs, nameplates) we designed, printed and reduce us. It's something specific about a handmade invitation. And there are so many freely available online tools to help you to get the right design, and fonts.
