"Dream Downtown Hotel" - the Dream Hotel in New York of the "trade" - architects from New York

the Dream Hotel in New York - Modern design

Built in a place of great architectural interest, the Dream Hotel in New York is an excellent example of modern hotel architecture. This super-stylish boutique hotel is located in New York, in the trendy Chelsea neighborhood and was in 2006, a huge renovation project of the trade-architects.
The central issue which affects the interior and exterior design, is a futuristic, abstract interpretation of boiling water. The connection with the sea and water fǖhrt directly to the fascinating building history

The exciting hotel history has 1960 back to the so-called "Maritime Hotel", which by the architect. Albert C. Ledner was designed for the National Marine Association. Later the building was sold and changed its function

The ultra-modern facade shows stylistic similarities to the ancient "Maritime Hotel" and the original design of Ledner. But that is not rooted in nostalgia. The modern hotel architecture reminiscent of the shape, but has a progress concept. The whole building is celebrating the metal as a creative building material. The facade is made up of reflective steel plates together - so the project of Ledner was considered and modernized simultaneously

Replace On the facade of the 17-th Street polished stainless steel plates, the original mosaic tiles of the old Union building. The original structure of Ledner had distinctive round window. This connection to the lake and water is also preserved in the new building. In the steel plates additionally several smaller hatches were asymmetrically hinzugefȕgt so that the otherwise austere façade around radiates more energy. The lively district composition is now even closer to the concept of bubbling water

This simple idea is an important theme in modern hotel architecture from the Dream Hotel in New York. " / strong>. The front facade, once a bare wall, was transformed into a composition of circular shapes and structures. This time the two layer steel was built so that circular openings over individual "Juliet" - arise balconies. The effect is dramatic, the combination between the reflecting perforated metal, the glass windows and the balconies in the shade - sensational

The ultra-modern design is breathtaking. You play with the light, so that a dreamlike and familiar atmosphere. The designers have integrated all the circular motif on many different and creative ways. The architects have taken drastic measures to ensure that the space is better illuminated - four floors were eliminated. In thus resulting space they constructed a beautiful secluded roof terrace with a pool area. The pool itself contributes to the surrealist interior design in - guests can down through the glass at the pool floor to enjoy the outside world

Another clever variation. the water theme can be discovered in the foyer. The light that shines through the perforated steel plates, forming circles throughout the room. Combined with prȁchtigen, luxurious plants and greenery, which can be seen through the windows, the lobby acts as a glade

And that's not all: the concept of bubbling water will be further developed. The commercial architects have created a shimmering dream where spectacular lamps made of hand-blown glass balls

Wherever you look around at this modern hotel in the interior design, you will find various variants from the central circular motif. The are always redesigned and presents and look fresh and interesting. The reflections on the steel walls transform the symbolic order in Blȁschenformen even more bizarre patterns.

So that the interior is warmer and cozy, the trade-architects have used wooden elements in the decoration. The soft furnishings and krȁftigfarbenen images provide more comfort in the guest rooms and bring colors in the interior design Scheme of modern hotel

& nbsp;.

A travel agent describes the Dream Hotel in downtown as "a strangely organized space". This is a good interpretation of the magic of the dream Atmosphȁre hotels. It wȕrde be interesting to know whether Albert C. Ledner would approve this transformation of his ursprȕnglichen modern building

Due to the vertical linear aspects of the design, these seem to float above the rest of the building. Slender white columns are used to enhance parts of the house over sparkling pools. In this way, the water element is inserted into the schema of the green architecture
